Hi MES families,
Thank you again for all of your hardwork, engagement and fundraising throughout our Virtual Fun Run. Thanks to you guys, we hit our goal of $50,000 and then some! Now that we have some concrete numbers to work with, we will be finalizing our budget for the year. Once the budget is finished, we will be posting it on our website for anyone to review. This is something that we have been very hesistant about, but now that we hit our Fun Run goal, I'm really looking to finally being able to make financial commitments to our school, teachers and students' needs!
Volunteers Needed
Now that the Fun Run is over, we are shifting our focus to our new campaigns: Local Business Support and Move Your Body. Being that these are both brand new to the PTO, we would love for some volunteers to help us get these programs off the ground. We are also still looking for room parents to help support our teachers throughout the school year. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these programs, please send an email to MammothVC@ gmail. com
Local Business Support Campaign
This past week was our first week highlighting two of our amazing Local Business Sponsors, Elixir and Bleu. Today is the last day to shop at those businesses to get a punch on your local supporter cards. Starting tomorrow, we are going to be highlighting The Troutfitter, John's Pizza Works, Eastern Sierra Land Survey and Snowcreek Golf! If you shop at any of those businesses, show them your local supporter card to receive your punch on your card. And remember, once you collect 10 punches, send us a picture of your card, and we will send you a little prize as a thank you for helping us support our supporters!

Weekly Paper Lesson Plans: New pen to paper lesson plans for students TK-2nd that include games, activities, worksheets and science projects are now available in our store at MammothPTO.org. These plans are free to download, and we are also hoping to be able to offer a printed version soon.
Local Support Weeks: This week we are highlighting The Troutfitter, John's Pizza, Snowcreek Golf, and Eastern Sierra Land Survey.
Room Parent Program: Please email us at MammothVC@ gmail. com if you are interested in becoming a room parent for your child's classroom. We are hoping to have a room parent assigned to each and every class within the first 2 weeks of school starting.
Move Your Body Campaign: We are working on creating fun and creative ways to encourage all MES students (and their families) to get moving. If you would like to volunteer for this committee, please contact Nicolette Alvarado at MammothVC@ gmail. com
