Hi MES Families!
Snow is falling outside so we thought it was the perfect time to start thinking about holidays! With only 5 weeks until the end of this semester, we have a few new things to annouce to help us all prepare (and raise some funds at the same time...win-win!)
For some unique gift ideas and some great gift wrapping supplies, we are workign with Charleston Wrap this year to bring you this all virtual catalog fundraiser. 40% of sales will go to the PTO, and all orders will be shipped directly to you. This fundraiser will be running from November 13-30th, so we will be sending you more information on how to register and shop soon!
We will also be running a Scholastic virtual book fair at the same time so that families can stock up on some amazing books for the holidays. The PTO will earn 25% in Scholastic rewards which we will pass on to all MES teachers so that they can reward their hardworking students and incentivize their whole class to turn their work in and stay engaged.
We are also going to be running a holiday sale on some of our spirit wear in our MammothPTO.org store to help spread some school pride over the holidays. This year has put an emphasis on distance, and spirit wear is a great reminder to your kids that they are a part of the amazing Husky Pup community!
With snow now on the ground, getting outside and moving will be a little more challenging. If you are ever in need of some inspiration on how to get your kids to burn off some of the energy, check out our Move Your Body calendar that is now live on our site here! We have been really enjoying the video game workout from Friday in our house! Also, every Monday at 2pm is a LIVE KidFit workout that is free to all MES students! Make sure to check that out, as well!

Weekly Paper Lesson Plans: New pen to paper lesson plans for students TK-2nd that include games, activities, worksheets and science projects are now available in our store at MammothPTO.org. These plans are free to download, and we are also hoping to be able to offer a printed version soon.
Local Support Weeks: Changing things up a little bit and will be re-launching in the next few weeks.
