Hi *|FNAME|*,
Thanksgiving break is here, thankfully! This year, I am grateful for the PTO community during these last challenging 9 months, and I am even more grateful that there looks to be an end in sight!

While this year has been a challenging one for a lot of us, I think its more important than ever to use Thanksgiving as a time to look for reasons to be grateful, no matter how small. Studies have shown that children as young as 5 can understand the power of positive thinking, and they are most likely to model that behavior when they see their parents practicing it. And don't worry, studies also show that you only have to be at your best when it comes to parenting 30% of the time in order raise healthy and thriving kids (so that is something else to be thankful for!).

Speaking of raising healthy and thriving kids, this year the PTO wants to encourage every MES family to give their kids at least 1 new book this holiday season. Nothing empowers our children like early literacy. We have one week left in our online book fair! Every sale gives 30% back to MESPTO, which we will put into buying more books for our students!

We also have one week left of our Charleston Wrap fundraiser where you can shop for all of your holiday suppplies and gifts. MESPTO gets 40% of every sale made using the link below. They have really cute wrapping paper, uesful kitchen gadgets, tasty snacks, and even personalized gifts! Shop today before supplies run out!

This year, the PTO has big fundraising goals to help our teachers and students get everything they need to ensure our kids have the best educational experience possible. From new basketball hoops on the playground all the way down to prizes that encourage our kids to stay engaged and involved, we want to be able to say yes to every need that comes to us. Please help us reach those goals by taking part in these fundraisers!

Also, if you are shopping on Amazon, make sure to sign up for smile.amazon and choose Mammoth Elementary School PTO as your charity of choice. Every little bit really adds up!

I hope you and your family have a delicious, memorable and grateful Thanksgiving!
