Hi Husky Pup Families!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween! A HUGE thank you to the ASB and MUSD for putting on such a fun and festive drive-thru trick or treating event. It was great to have a reason to put on costumes and get into the Halloween spirit! Also, a big thank you to our community for donating to our candy drive at Vons. Thanks to you we had more than enough candy for all of the MUSD trick or treaters, and you put smiles on a lot of kids' faces!

We are back into full speed ahead over here at the MESPTO. We have launched our brand new Move Your Body Campaign to encourage the importance of kids getting a little physical exercise every day. We will be adding to this calendar with more unqiue and specific events as we get further into the program. One specific event we have already added to the calendar is KidFit weekly workouts. We are teaming up with VFit every Monday at 2pm for their KidFit class, so be sure to join for a LIVE kid friendly workout! And these are all challenges that will be fun for the whole family, so don't hesitate to join in with your kiddos!

This month, we are holding 2 general PTO meetings. This Wednesday will be an all Spanish meeting followed by an all English meeting on Thursday. Please join us to learn about our upcoming fundraisers (both new and tried and true options), help us decide how to move forward with enrichment classes formatted for distance learning, learn about new virtual field trip options, give input on our 2020-2021 budget that we are finalizing, and brainstorm with us on ways to improve the success of distance learning for our students and teachers.

I look forward to seeing everyone this week on Zoom!

PTO President
